Updates
May 2023: I will be interning with the Turing team at Microsoft as a Data and Applied Scientist Intern. I will be working on improving the existing multi-modal architecutes at Turing. Super excited to be in Seattle for the summer!
February 2023: Work done on analyzing the robustness of hateful meme detection systems at IIT Kharagpur was accepted at TheWebConf (WWW) 2023! Link to paper is here
January 2023: I will be TAing 10-601: Introduction to Machine Learning with Prof. Matt Gormley
August 2022: I joined the Machine Learning Department at Carnegie Mellon University as a Master's Student!
April 2022: I graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering with a specialization in Visual Information Processing and Embedded Systems, and completed a minor in Computer Science.
October 2021: Our paper on SAC: Semantic Attention Composition for Text Conditioned Image Retrieval has been accepted at WACV 2022! Link to paper is here.
May 2021: Starting my summer internship at the IRIS Computer Vision Lab at University of Southern California under the guidance of Prof. Ram Nevatia and Arka Sadhu. I will be working on Spatio-Temporal Grounding of natural language inputs in videos
March 2021: Excited to start working on a Global Remote Mentorship project with IBM Research! Will be working on Simulation of Long-term Impact of AI on Fairness in Credit Lending Domain using Multi-agent setup under Pranay Lohia.
February 2021: We filed two patents filed for the work at Adobe during last summer.
October 2020: Started working remotely with the Robot and Vision Learning Lab at Univeristy of Toronto under the guidance of Prof. Florian Shkurti on Multimodal Contrastive Learning using RGB and LiDAR inputs for navigation and exploration tasks.
August 2020: Spent a lovely summer at the Media and Data Science Research Lab, Adobe headed by Balaji Krishnamurthy. It was an amazing learning experience to work on Text Conditioned Image Retrieval, which allows users to modify products based on fine grained natural language inputs.
July 2019: Attended a summer school on Machine Learning at CVIT, IIIT Hyderabad. Witnessed a thoroughly enriching set of talks and tutorials on Deep Learning from some fantastic speakers from both Academia and Industry.
May 2019: Will be starting my first ever internship at Attentive AI! A start up which works on using Computer Vision and AI to provide their customers with accurate automated remote property analysis.
December 2018: Qualified for the Amritapuri Regionals of ACM-ICPC! Our team The Missing Semicolon will be going to Coimbatore for the regionals!
